Landlord is brewed with Golden Promise malt, whole-leaf Goldings, Fuggles, and Styrian Goldings hops, alongside pure Knowle Spring water. A classic pale ale with an amber hue, it opens with a complex citrus and fruity aroma, delivering a full but smooth malt body with a touch of sweetness, followed by a lingering, gentle bitter hop finish. It holds the unique distinction of winning both the CAMRA Champion Beer of Britain and the Brewing Industry Awards Gold Medal four times, making it the most decorated beer in British history. It is the highest-selling cask ale in Britain, accounting for 80 per cent of the brewery’s output.
